Soft and fluffy peanut butter frosting! It's ready in 10 minutes and goes with anything chocolate or peanut butter flavored.

The recipe is here and pictures of the process are below.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (113 g), room temperature

  • 1/2 heaping cup creamy peanut butter (JIF) (130 g)

  • 2 Tbsp. cream cheese (30 g), room temperature

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (180 g)

  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream (30 g)

Directions:

  1. In the bowl of your stand mixer, cream together the peanut butter, butter, and cream cheese (optional) for 2-3 minutes. You want the color to lighten by a few shades.

  2. Scrape down the sides, add the powdered sugar and mix until combined.

  3. Add the heavy cream and beat until smooth. Scrape down the bowl again.

  4. Then beat on medium-high speed for 3-4 minutes or until the buttercream has become light and fluffy.

  5. Use immediately or store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

  6. Makes ~4 cups frosting

before creaming the peanut butter, butter, and cream cheese.

After creaming the butters and cream cheese. So silky smooth!

Before mixing in the powdered sugar.

After I mixed in the powdered sugar I added ~2 tbsp. heavy cream and whipped on high speed for 3-4 minutes until this texture was achieved (next picture).

Completed frosting!

So fluffy, creamy, and smooth!
