Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal:
Ingredients:
~3/4 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
~1/2 cup coconut/almond/regular milk
1 spoonful peanut butter powder (optional, otherwise add peanut butter later)
1/2 spoonful cocoa/cacao powder (optional, I didn't add in the picture shown above)
Add ins:
1 spoonful date paste or other sweetener (optional)
1 spoonful creamy peanut butter
Peanuts (optional)
Mini Chocolate Chips (optional)
Directions:
Mix oats, milk, peanut butter powder (optional), and cocoa powder (optional) together. I never measure, I just add oats and then enough milk to cover but not completely saturate them (see pictures below). Store in a container overnight or leave out at room temperature 30-60 minutes. The oats will become soft as they soak up the milk.
After soaking, warm in a microwave, if desired.
Stir in the peanut butter (if not using peanut butter powder) and date paste. These ingredients also help thicken the oatmeal. Taste and add more date paste or other ingredients until it's to you're liking. Top with peanuts and mini chocolate chips (optional).
