A soft, delicious cake that's great for tea or coffee, or as an afternoon treat! It's a combination of a banana bread with a cinnamon coffee cake!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 overripe medium bananas OR 3 small overripe bananas
1/4 cup salted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
Crumb Filling and topping
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Optional glaze:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1-2 Tbsp milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray a 9" round or square baking pan with cooking spray, set aside.
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
In a mixer bowl mash bananas until they become liquified.
Mix in butter into the bananas until combined. Then mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in milk and flour until combined.
Prepare crumb filling/topping by combining all the ingredients together cutting them together with a fork or pastry cutter until a coarse crumb forms.
Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan. Top with 1/3 of the crumb mixture. Cover with the remaining batter and top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 45 minutes.
If desired, mix powdered sugar and milk together and drizzle on top.
Can be served at room temperature.
Store at room temperature up to 3 days or in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
